Quinua is a little town located 30 miles from the Ayacucho city in the Peruvian mountain, is a place where the ceramic adopt the most beautiful shapes and designs. Is very difficult to precise since when the ceremonial ceramic has been used in Quinua. The natives were the first ones to take their ceramic to the capital, once in Lima, many collectors were very interested in the roof churches. In the 90's the Quinua ceramic became more popular because of tradeshows in different cities, and not only was a local demand, because many companies started to exporting the Quinua ceramic to all over the world. Since them the production of Quinua ceramic has increase tremendously for exporting.
